High Temperature Tape for Flame Boss 200 Universal.

I just unpacked my Flame Boss 200 for Universal Smokers.

The first page of the instructions say that it's supposed to come with high temperature tape.

I don't see it?

What is it supposed to look like? Can someone upload a pic of the tape that came with the unit?

Did others get it?

I don't see the tape in this stock picture either.

High temp tape should look like aluminum foil (but is much much thicker) with adhesive backing.

I have a roll that I used for patching/fixing up a propane grill.

Maybe those cut out squares are the tape? (Check for a paper backing that may peel off to expose the tape back).

Thanks. Where exactly did you apply it on the grill? Was something deteriorating a little?

Did you order a Flame Boss 200, and if so, did it come with it?
 
I have an ancient Vermont Castings 3 burner propane grill - the screw holes in the frame for the venturi tubes rusted out so I used hi-temp tape to hold the venturi tubes to the frame.

Works great.
 
I called Flame Boss, because I'm trying to connect to my WiFi, and it says "joining", but then never says the device ID.

After being on hold for 1 min, I get a message that says "all of our customer service representatives are busy. Please leave a message".

I don't know if I like that customer service experience. I'd rather be on hold, then guess as to whether they will call me back.
 
Apparently they are only in office Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EDT.

They do respond to Facebook messenger, within a few minutes, though.

Am in current contact with them.
 
I saw a blog that said the number of characters was an issue on older firmware.

But the representative said that was no longer an issue.

I guess I had just mistyped my password, got it to connect to Wi Fi now.
