High Speed Rail Project

Yeah that is just awesome. When the wind machines were being installed in Burney, CA I had a chance to see the tower sections being hauled over hwy. 44. I thought those were big loads, but those concrete sections you showed here are impressive. Chuck how does the push truck know how to match the speed and RPM with the lead truck? I would imagine they would have to be pretty well in sink when shifting gears, no?

Thanks for sharing!

The trucks are identically geared, but the truth is, the trailer tells the pusher if more or less is needed. That trailer self balances on each wire, it is an amazing trailer. Read about it on their web site

Goldhofer

I remember the Goldhofer tugs at O'Hare. They had these huge machines for moving the large planes (basically all the twin aisle aircraft) the single aisle typically just used a TUG. Looking like an over grown garden tractor
