Hickory Grilled Mahi-Mahi with Mango Salsa

Another late arrival home, accompanied by a strong desire to grill. So, mahi-mahi is on sale, and I'm craving fruit. No brainer - mango salsa with the mahi. Also did carrots and zukes on the grill, along with some fresh whole wheat bread grilled w/ freshly grated sharp cheddar and a touch of garlic powder.

A little light olive oil, salt, pepper and a patient wait for the grill:

Did the hickory over power?

Not at all. Everything was cooked so quickly, it added just another dimension of flavor. Though it was quite present on the cheese bread. Good, but definitely there.
 
Thats some good looking food.
I never had Mahi-mahi myself(not a big fish eater) But yours looks great.

Dolphin is my all-time favourite fish, those carrots look spectacular and the zuk, salsa, Pinot... EVERYTHING!
