Hello, Im the proud parent of a smokey joe, weber 22 1/2 kettle and a genesis 1000 lx gasser. I love my Webers to say the least. After 16 years of faithful service and minimal maintenance, Ive decided to do a complete rebuild on the genesis. It wasn't to hard to convince the wife of spending the money to rebuild the old green lady as in comparison to buying new. Got the ss flavorizer bars, ss burner set, just waiting for this winter to finally leave to start the rebuild. Im planning on doing a complete teardown rebuild, so if anyone has any advice or tips to give to my quest, feel free to do so.
