Hi All,

BBQ enthusiast here. More often than not I run my PK with oak.

But I have a soft spot for my Weber Genesis 1000 and my Broil Master D3 and my Weber GA when I'm on the road. I love barbequing more than gas grilling but my wife can grill too so that's another reason to have one around (the gas grill that is).

I love old BBQ's. Not a big fan of the monstrosity's that exist now. Broil King and Napoleon do put out some quality products but at high prices.

I think there is charm and reward in restoring an old grill to its beauty.

Thanks for having me on the forum. BBQ is a healthy obsession I think...

Hey there, welcome also from southern Ontario.
I like the PK's a lot and wish I could have one......maybe if I had a bit more room but I am maxed out on available real estate at my place.
5 cookers...and I had to sell 1 to make these fit....it was only a Traeger pellet pooper so it didn't hurt my feelings too much.
The old man took that one over for me, it runs without hardly any work so he likes that a bunch.
Lots of good people here, mostly good advice too.

Wondering what your favorite BBQ you have that you enjoy cooking on?

My go to for 90% of my cooks is my Performer.......
I just got used to using it so I do although the Kamado or the E6 is by far a more premium grill / smoker and can do it all.
It however is much more messy and takes a lot more work than me just banging out some meals on the performer.

pork steaks (pork shoulder) is my favorite. Whole bird aint bad. Lamb Leg is another fav.

Our favorite is also PORK- not cooked too much, then chicken thighs and then steak for DH and shrimp for me!!!!
