I am a novice griller and a beginner smoker. I have a lot to learn.

I recently purchased a Weber Smokey Mountain cooker and have only used it twice. Once to do a turkey and once to do ribs. The turkey came out pretty good, although the skin was dry because I didn't put any oil on it. The ribs came out great.

A few months after purchasing the WSM cooker, my wife won a Smoke Mountain 3-in-1 gas grill, charcoal grill, wood smoker which we used once to do ribs. We are going to alternate between the two. My nephew, who is a smoker aficionado, turned me onto the WSM cooker. So far so good.
