Thanks Fellas..

Chicken Wings turned out great. I'd have some pictures but my phone took a dive on me.. On to the Beer Can for Sunday... Im pumped...

Quick question, should I fill the ring up with unlit charcoal? and then pile in my hot chimney coals?

yes. You can put a tin can in the middle , pile the unlit around it , fill the can with lit , and then pull the can out. ( makes a neat fire) or you can just pour the lit on top of the unlit. (Lots of guys do this) are you going with an actual beer can , or a holder ( with or without beer can) these days I just use the holder and skip the can....seems to let the heat inside the chicken better.

was gonna use a 16oz tall boy can. seems to work the best for me. Anyone have a killer rub they want to share? I use the weber kickin chicken rub, it works and tastes great. Open to suggestions...

Howdy Frank and welcome!
I like the WKCR and McCormicks Grill mates Fiery 5 Pepper but it's a little spicy for my Lady if I use it straight up. Jewel has the Three Little Pigs poultry seasoning and McCormicks Grill Mates Montreal Chicken which I mix in.
Try some Alder chips or chunks, we love that for bird.
