Just starting in the smoking game. just got a 22.5 smoker. Man, this thing is a beast. Only thing is the charcoal basket doesn't seat very well. seems like it is to small. just slides around. any measurements as far as diameter that it is sposed to be?
 
Welcome Geoff....I spent a good part of my life in Utah, even some time in "O" town, went to T.O. Smith Elementary, moved out to Roy for Junior and High School, but still hung out with some Ogden HS kids. I have a 22.5 also, not sure what you mean about the charcoal basket not seating very well. My Charcoal ring has a lot of room to move around. You can do some mods to the ring. Check out this link: http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?49576-Day-off-and-got-some-WSM-mods-done
 
Welcome Geoff. Yes, the ring just sits on the charcoal grate. Slides around untll you get it loaded up. Works fine for me.
