Hello all! I am new to the Weber world and just recently picked up and early 90's (I think) Genesis off CL for 50 bucks. Going to be fixing her up to make her shine like new again, came across this page when I was researching restoration articles and thought it was a good idea to join!

Welcome to the forum Alex. That is a wonderful gasser and you will love doing that restore. We use our Genesis at least every week if not more. The only one of the grill my wife will use. You will have a great sense of accomplishment when you are done with the restore. Don't hesitate to ask any questions. That is how we all learn.
