Thanks for letting me join the board!

I have always wanted to own a Genesis. I have had the bug for years, I missed out on a Red Head a few months ago but I ended up finding a Platinum 3200. Someone said they had a LPG with glass doors which turned out to be NG as well... He was selling because he is moving to a condo. He remembers he put it away because he couldn't carry the 20lb tanks anymore, it was covered with a heavy duty cover, it is in great shape because of that. I want LPG conversion before I tap in a gas line at the house so I am picking up a 1000 to swap the scale and manifold on the platnium 3400 Tuesday. So far I am into these three for $220 CAD

Have yet to go through them thoroughly, Too bad I didn't get a red head but I scored the 3400 with glass doors.

Thoughts?

Welcome Ken! So, you got a Platinum 3400 in natural gas but you want propane. You picked up an additional 1000 in propane to swap the necessary parts over to the 3400? That sounds like a pretty solid plan to me. That is the best and safest way to convert one of these grills. Post up pictures of your new toy when you get a chance.
