Greetings,
Long time student of the 'way of bbq' but new to this site.

Just got myself a WSM and am getting familiar with it - enjoying the journey.

Lot's of great info here and good folks, looks like I'll be setting myself down for a bit.:)

I hope I can contribute in some small way to the community here.
 
Welcome to the forum Erik. We are so fortunate to live where we can Q year round, however, because of that start looking for bigger pants. LOL.

Welcome to the forum Erik. This is a great place to learn and to share. SoCal is a great place to live (with the exception of the drought). Middle of winter is still prime BBQ time and weather. Congrats on that new WSM. As Bill stated, "start looking for bigger pants".
 
Welcome to the forum Erik love SD, Rich and I lived in Lake Forest (El Toro) for 28 years before moving to Prescott loved it. Have fun cooking and let us know how the port shoulder comes out.
