Hi,
I've been using this site for years but figured it was time to create a profile.
Started out with a Weber Go-Anywhere grill when I got out of college, then went on to a Charbroil gas/charcoal hybrid back when I purchased a house. That was back when they were fairly decent and made out of cast aluminum (cookbox and hood). I've managed to get about a dozen years out of it with a burner replacement once along the way. Fortunately, it was blown off my deck over the winter, sustaining serious injuries and will be retired in favor of a Weber S-420 I found on clearance.
Also have a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker 22" since 2009 which has been a absolute joy to own.
Looking forward to learning more about grill mods, restorations, and bbq'ing tips/tactics.
