After many years away from charcoal grills, I've jumped back in head first. Picked up a 22" Original Kettle Premium just after Father's Day at my local HD, and broke it in with some burgers and chicken over the next few days. Then just yesterday scored a 18" Original Kettle and a 14.5" Smokey Joe on CL for $40 with a couple bags of KBB .
My family and friends have always enjoyed my grilled items off my gasser (Phoenix Grill) over the last 15+ years on it. It is a great grill, and cooks awesome. Hard to mess anything up on it. However, there was always something missing in the flavor profile. Well, after coming back to charcoal, it will be hard to fire up the gasser again anytime soon.
I look forward to lurking around here and gathering information, tips, tricks and new ideas I can apply to my cooks at home.
Thanks all!
