Hi everyone! Long time lurker here, but I'm finally making my first post. I love reading all your posts and Chris's companion sites.

I'm a beginner who's been grilling on a worn out Broil Mate 2 burner gasser until I got my first Smokey Joe about 1 year ago. Man, my wife and I love the charcoal experience and flavor! Hope to get a WSM soon and maybe even a new 2 burner Weber gas grill, once the broil Mate dies.

Going to try sharing some photos and contribute where I can!

My wife and I are in Winnetka on the hot side of the valley. There are actually quite a few forum members in the valley and the greater Los Angeles area. I know the area you are in, I uses to deliver newspapers in that area when I was a kid. Glad you are here.
