Thanks for the add! I just bought my first Weber, a Spirit E-325. Have only fired it up for the initial "burn off"! Excited to get to cook soon.
When I removed the factory stickers from the lid, the porcelain enamel under the stickers is factory bright and glossy. The surrounding areas are kind of dull and spotted. I've tried several cleaning products and methods, even the 0000 steel wool! I contacted Weber, and they said it's not uncommon to see during the packaging and display at a retailer. Seems like it's more "in" than "on" the finish. Weber is sending me some stainless steel polish to see if that might help. Anyone had a similar experience? Thanks for any ideas! Pix attached.
