I just purchased a Weber Performer Deluxe in Copper. Also purchased the iron cooking grate, the metal griddle, the stainless tool set, the standard steel cooking grate and a cover. I have already used it twice and I am so glad to get back to using charcoal after so many years of cooking on gas. My old off brand gas grill has been put out for heavy trash day and I am going to see if I can live without a gas grill. If I do have to add a gas grill again, it will only be a Weber. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Welcome Pat, your going to love the Performer but a gas grill is nice to have on the side. Believe me Rich and I have nine Weber's in the back yard for cooking. We use them all.

It's only been a week since I replaced my box store gas grill with the Performer. So far I have cooked on it 4 times. Eventually I will have to get another gas grill, it will be a Weber. The only thing I really notice, that I forgot about cooking with charcoal, is that you will smell like you have been grilling when you are done. Well worth it for the flavor.
