Hello all, joined about a month ago but just now had a moment to post a note.

I am an active duty Soldier deployed to Afghanistan. I will be home soon, hopefully in time for a Labor Day BBQ.

Wow, who'd you upset to get assigned to the puzzle palace? LOL I served at FTCKY 3 times in 21+ yrs. 5th trans in '82, 7/101 in '96, and 160th in '00.

Ever been to the red shack on the left side of 41A just past I65 towards Hoptown? Great Pork Steak there. Also, Knockum Hill BBQ out the back gate. They catered my retirement reception.

Anyway -- keep your head down and get back to NOVA to show us how you cook. Until you get set up, in a pinch there's a Famous Dave's down Rt 1 towards Ft Belvoir.
