I have had a Genesis E-330 :blackgenesis: for about a year now. All of my cooking is convenient quick grilling mostly a lot of chicken breasts and Steaks. I want to start slow cooking. I have worked with charcoal a few times, but not on a regular basis. My question is should I buy a 22" Kettle or go straight for the 18" WSM?

Thanks!!

Welcome to the World Of Weber Zach!
My opinion.... buy a kettle... you can find GREAT deals on Craig's List if you do not buy new. Ain't nothing wrong with saving some bucks and putting 'em toward your dinner...

Anyway, you CAN do excellent low & slow smoking/cooking on a kettle. I've done it for well over 20 years before buying my 1st WSM.
and it's so easy.
So, for what it's worth, my advice is to get the kettle, try it for a while.. you wanna get MORE involved with larger cuts/portions, then look for a WSM to fit your tastes/needs.

and again, Welcome to The BEST Weber Grilling & Smoking Informational Web Site on the Internet.

I know a meteorologist that used to be on tv there. She has since moved and now not in tv. Remember a redhead? Anyway welcome aboard.
