Hello all,

Just purchased my second Weber, a Genesis 1000 red top. I already have a Q200, but really looking forward to getting the red top restored.

Thought I should say hello for my first post.

Been looking for one about 8 months now, not loads of them over here.

Noticed mine seems to have an extra button though, not sure why.

Had a closer look at it today when I removed it from my car. The extra button is due to a thermocouple. Must be a UK / europe thing.
 
Hello Andy, Our Son-in-law is from the UK. Matter of fact, he just return yesterday afternoon from a business trip there. I have him helping me operate 2-WSMs, 1-XL BGE & a converted LP tank in our BBQ cook-off competition events. He is my Thermapen source. Enjoy ur Weber...
