Hello from central NC

Hello everyone. My name is Kevin. I have been a Weber addict since April of 2021. After watching baby back manic on YouTube when he modified his performer I have been hooked since. Immediately I googled it and found that grill new is out of my price range. Sometime later in April or 2021 I was on my daily Craigslist scroll, I put my zip code in and there it was. A second Gen DE code performer for only $25 bucks. And only 3 miles from home. I picked it up that evening and it has been on ever since! I have gifted some and sold some. I have a photo album with over 100 pictures of grills I picked and repaired. I’ll post some before and afters of my favorite ones. Im curantly working a Genesis C and gold. Im torn between witch one I will keep and use daily. Im most likely create a new thread dedicated to them since they are in progress.
I found out about this forum on Weber Facebook page. I look forward to learning and sharing here.

Thank you. I enjoy it. I have 2 small kids so these grills are something that I can work on when I have spare time ( which is not to often lately) they don’t take up a lot of space and are simple to tear down, clean and out back together for the most part. Plus parts and easy to come by for the most part. But you probably know that already I’m sure

Thanks, The platypus and 300Q are no longer with me. I have a few more I'm working on and some not pictured. these are just a couple of my favorite resto I have done. I do wish I had kept the 300Q

yes she is about 6 year old black lab female. always happy to taste test haha. you have a fine name yourself!!
