Hello folks

Good day folks, thanks for the invite into this group. My name is Justin and I live in Winnipeg, Canada. I have been a proud owner of a Genesis 1000 for several years and have done some light refurbishing on it. Been a workhorse with zero problems.
I am on my way tomorrow to pick up a new never ignited Genesis 3 NG. From what I can tell it is manufactured between 1985 and early 1988. It has the wide cedar slats. Hoping maybe some paperwork comes with it. I will include a couple pictures from the listing and a a couple better ones when I take possession. Thanks.

Welcome Justin, that is quite a find. I'm definitely looking forward to some better pictures once you get it home and definitely ask for the owners manual and any other paperwork you can get.

Welcome Justin, awesome grill. There are a bunch of folks on this forum that would have loved to find that treasure!

Welcome Justin!

I'm near Calgary, great find you got there!

Here is mine, scored it for free from a BBQ store junk pile about 12 years ago!

Hi Justin, welcome to the forum. Looking forward to seeing more pictures of your Genesis 3 and cooks.

Great find and welcome to the forum.
I still have my 1989 gen 1000, now a 2000 I bought new in 89.
Also have a gen 2 that I will be doing a low and slow restore as time and old age allow. With the serial number it appears to be one of the first 200 built.
