I'm Michelle from New Orleans, LA. My husband and I have been smoking on a WSM forever -- maybe 30 years. I'd bought him a small smoker to start out and then we quickly went to the WSM and many years later, we now have two WSMs, both of them the larger model. Brian usually does the smoking and I normally do the preparing. We also have a Weber BBQ grill as well which gets a lot of use.

Am pleased to be here and am sure I will gain a lot from all of you!

Since you're from New Bedford, Leo, you must know my husband's hometown, too. He's from Marion, which is right at the entrance to the Cape.

Brian and I live in Algiers Point, which is the second oldest area in N.O. after the French Quarter. It's also an historic district and is right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. In fact, we can see the French Quarter from our balcony!

Hi Brian and Michelle, my grandparents use to live in Algiers and my grandfather worked at the Navy base there. Wife and I just joined the site as well and glad to see other Louisianans here.
