Heatermeter 4.2 is no longer accessible via WiFi?

no more messages and its been about 15+ minutes.


Heatermeter has been working great for a couple years now. I lent it to my friend who was having some issues with his since he was having a cook. I believe he attempted to put his SD cars in mine (HM 4.3, guessing pi ii with built in WiFi).

He couldn’t get it to work but but now I can’t connect remotely to mine at all (using buttons works fine). I reflashed the SIM card off of the heatermeter page where I entered my WiFi info but still no luck. I plugged in a little monitor and see the attached. Any ideas?

Since this is an older HM I assume you have a rPi that has a LAN port? If so, perhaps connect a LAN cable to your network and connect to the HM via LAN, then load config and scan for wifi networks to connect to.
 
Thanks! Don’t particularly understand why that worked but was able to connect via Ethernet and then scanned for the WiFi network and got on. Weird, but working again!
