If you are visiting Oahu and go out to the east side (Sea Life Park, Hanauma Bay, Makapuu), then Sweet Home Waimanalo is a decent BBQ joint to eat at.
The BBQ is not spectacular, but I never have a problem going over when I have a craving and don't have the time to do my own. Very good, consistent product.
Another draw for this place is that they are really trying to use all local ingredients, and feature other products (food stuffs, art, etc) from local producers.
I wouldn't necessarily put it on the list of "must dos" if you are on the island, but if you are driving by, I would definitely stop in for a taste.
