Hasselback Prep Kit

Usually I'm not a huge fan of kitchen gadgets as many prove to be useless in the end though I was recently in Sur La Table and this caught my eye. I like Hasselback's though placing the potato wedged between two wooden spoons isn't my strong suit therefore for $12 I had to have this. Seems very practical though it's first test will be tonight. It's well made and should increase the hasselback style potato served at my house.

I saw them at WM today, they want $14, I think.

That's a nice idea but I have nowhere to put it ( the junk drawer is full )
Maybe put it on the counter to hold today's mail ?
