The thermoworks pro series probes are on sale for $7.50 each. Has anybody used them? Do they work well? I currently have the mavericks.

Thanks for the heads up... Even though I have had a hard time killing my Thermoworks probes I couldn't pass up on a deal like that! Just ordered 3 extras, now with the thermocouple and these extra Thermoworks probes I should be set on probes for a good long time... Unless Maverick makes a change that makes their probes more moisture proof I don't think I will be buying any more of their probes in the future, cause I've killed so many of them I can't even count how many....

I use these probes and they are excellent. I use the needle probe more than the others and it's great, waterproof with a silicone sleeve instead of braided steel. The only down side is there's a plastic lump on the probes which is too big to pass through eyelets/grommets.
