I added handles to my 14.5 WSM. I ordered handles from Brinkmann & stained & added top coat. I have in my past life owned a Brinkmann smoker & I like the handles so I ordered a pair. My old Brinkmann handles looked like crud due to wear & tear which is why I chose to stain this go around. I also added a Thermometer even though I have a Maverick #ET-73 I like to run both.

I just received my new WSM 18.5" and will be making the same mods to it.

Looks like you be ready for some serious Q'ing, hope you gettin Tel Tru thermometers, they are the best........
 
Nicely done Donna, did you add the ports for the thermometer cables or did your smoker come with them? I bought the ports from Weber, but I've been too chicken to drill into my 18"

I'm thinking of adding wheels to my 18" Home Depot has some real nice wheels on sale right now
