I fry my turkeys. Sorry, I jsut love that peppery, crispy skin. Anyway, I did smoke a ham over a little apple, cherry, and oak. I was just using what I had left. Didn't really notice a lot on T-day, there was so much great food to eat. But yesterday, I pulled that ham from the fridge and sliced off a bit..........wow.
Smoked hams are extremely underrated. I used a store bought glaze because I was so busy this year, but I just have to say...smoke a ham, you'll be glad you did!

Tell us a little more about the cook. What temp, how long was the cook, what temp did you bring the meat too . . .
