Guinness Barbecue Shrimp


In case you are wondering, yes, I am working on my shrimp binders. I have 5 binders full of just shrimp recipes. I am going through them all, keeping just the ones that I really like. This is another recipe that sounds too hot for me, but you all might like it.

Guinness Barbecue Shrimp


1 cup olive oil
12 oz. Guinness Beer
3 TB honey
2 jalapenos
1 TB. chili powder
Salt to taste

Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.

BBQ Shrimp:

12 jumbo shrimp, peeled
1 shallot
2 minced garlic cloves
1 bunch of fresh cilantro
Guinness Beer marinade
Salt to taste

Place shrimp in bowl. Add ingredients, mix. Let marinate in refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

Grill for about 4 or 5 minutes.
