Grocery Store Lump

On the way home from work, I stopped at Bruno's, a local grocery store here in Alabama. They usually just carry the ubiquitous Kingsford charcoal, but today I was walking down the aisle and froze. They had bags of a lump charcoal called Full Circle! They were selling it for about $7 for an 8.8 lb bag.

I picked up a bag to see if I could tell where it came from, but no luck. I did see the starting methods on the back, and the first one listed was "Lighter Fluid" .... nooooooooo! And of course, the store stocked lots of lighter fluid bottles on the shelves below the bags.

Well, I decided to check into it before buying any. I went home and looked it up in Naked Whiz. They actually gave it a Recommended rating, saying the only drawback was that it had mostly small pieces. So I guess I will be going back to the store and grabbing a couple bags to try out.

Anybody else try this Full Circle lump?

Scott, Good find. If the pieces are small do the double grate mod. You'll be glad you did.
