LOL. I did a lot of end caps and cook boxes. I know what you mean about the corner on that end cap too. There are several spots like that in cook boxes as well. I will gladly pay $20 to $30 for a cook box to be blasted. Even end caps at $10 each is a deal IMO.
Yah, makes you wonder if they really want business sometimes.
My suggestion, stop out at the shop. You will get a lot better attention that way. Maybe bring a cook box and couple end caps just so the guy will know exactly what you want.
If not a sandblasting outfit, maybe a small corner sander. I just got one from Harbor Freight for less than $20 for stuff like that.
I found a sandblasting and powder coating company right here in little Brazil, IN. I am going to take Bruce's advice and show up one day this week with some grill parts in hand. One hope I have is that I wouldn't be in a rush so he could use my stuff as "filler" in between other jobs. I will report back.
