Just received posting privileges tonight.
I live in Woodstock GA, which is in Cherokee County, north of Atlanta.
Picked up my WSM new at Home Depot in Acworth (had to call around to find a place that didn't have to ship it) just before Memorial Day weekend. Did ribs first, then a Boston Butt and this weekend a brisket. Plans for all three again over the 4th.
Just picked up a DigiQ DX2 from the Brew Depot in Alpharetta Saturday. They only had blower adapters fit Green Eggs, so I ordered the adapter for the WSM...hope it makes it before the 4th!
I also home brew beer, started that last year. Just bottled a batch of IPA Friday night....looking forward to trying that, too.
Retired US Navy Command Master Chief, 22 years 1978-2000. If there are any ex-squids on here, I was a submarine A Ganger, A Company Commander at RTC Orlando, a surface steam main propulsion EOOW and a CMC on a frigate out of Mayport when I retired.
Followed a job up to Atlanta after retiring from the Navy. I work in Field Service for a major OEM of power generation equipment. I manage combustion turbine and generator overhauls at power plants.
I also am a certified PMP, if there are any of them here on the board.
What else do you wanna know???
