Hello, everybody! Checking in from Long Island, New York. My name is Jordan and it's a pleasure to join the forum. I've been browsing a little bit since yesterday while waiting for my account to go through the moderation process and you all seem really great, happy and helpful. What's not to love about a community of people who love cooking out.

Anyway, I'm chef by trade and cook in all types of environments. I do everything from ballin' brunch to scrumptious sushi and more recently rediscovered my love for cooking over charcoal in the back yard. I use to spend a lot of time BBQing and grilling on a Brinkmann Pitmaster 12-15 years ago, but for the last 10 years I've not really done much of that style of cooking at all. Until about three weeks ago. I bought a 22 inch Weber One Touch and quickly fell in love with it. The years spent in kitchens have definitely enhanced my abilities, techniques and overall understanding of cooking with any medium and I cook on my Weber with a great deal of confidence in my approach and trust in the equipment.
