Green 1998 Genesis 1000 Restoration

I picked this up for free months ago and finally got this done and assembled for my brother. Instead of buying a new one, I wanted to refurb this back to life.

I cleaned it up and the. Spray painted with rustoleum. Needed a new igniter and small wheels. A lot of elbow grease and it came out pretty well. Only two out of three burners were lighting up and after a thorough cleaning, all three work perfectly.

Nice job! Good looking grill
Looking good.

I think it's actually a Genesis 2000 with the larger cart and the right side table extension.
Excellent grill.
Looks Good Tom! I have never actually seen a green one but the more I see on here the more I like them.
Thanks y’all! I actually got this for free and only got new wheels and igniter. So very happy with it.

Thanks for the info on Genesis 2000. Still new to this and don’t know the major differences.

The green is a looker. Still got my redhead that I gotta work on. Good times and grill on folks!

Looks great! I still like the style Genesis......

Great job on saving a REAL Weber, and I think a better choice than what you can buy today. I hope your brother enjoys many years from it.
