Nice comparison.

Just cooked 4 1.5" thick ribeyes on the 26 a few days ago and could sear all 4 at the same with; reverse sear. I also felt that I could run a hotter sear area without bringing the IT of the meat up too fast vs the 22. Brought the temp up slowly until 110 IT. The lid therm was reading 600 and got a great sear on all 4 steaks. Real world seems much bigger, like Steve mentioned.

Do you own all 3?!

I own a Master Touch (22) and a OTG 26. The SCG we have on loan from Weber Holland to test drive it. We are planning to use it for KCBS competitions (for both pork and brisket) instead of two WSM22's. Results so far are pretty good and it's very fuel efficient. Only thing I don't like is that it's wheelbase is too wide for my garage so I have to remove the kettle from the cradle to get it to my car for transportation. While we only do 3 - 5 competitions a year, it's no big deal.

Here's a picture of the team ;-)

The 26 really does look soooo much bigger than the 22.5 when you open the grill, but your picture makes them seem pretty close.

Pleun, nice picture. What brand and type of beverage are you guys enjoying?

This is a great pic and should be placed in the permanent record.

Also those BBQ Meesters look like some serious competition.
Well done !
