Going to South Africa!

So, I am heading over to Durban, South Africa next week for a couple of weeks on a business trip. Any members on the forum from the area? I would like to see if I could try the local BBQ, (if there is such a thing), while I am there. I always try to absorb a little of the local culture and food if at all possible on these trips.
 
Cool Tom, in Steven Raichlens book "planet barbecue" he raves about the "piri piri" chicken wings", and I know some members here have made them.
 
Short of a South African TVWBB member's recommendation, having traveled all over the world I've found that the local's will send you in the right direction. Braai is VERY popular in South Africa.

I always get pretty good recommendations for food when I travel overseas. I must have gained 5Lbs the last time I was in Bangkok!
