Picked up today, a "C" stamped, 22" kettle, with what appears to be original charcoal and cooking grates, ash pan and THREE wooden handles (two on the kettle and one on the lid).

Two pencil-eraser sized pieces of rust on nicks, one on the lid, one on the bowl.

Even had about 2 lbs left of some circa 1991 Kingsford charcoal.

The porcealin on the lid appears to be a "weathered" charcoal gray. It is quite evident this thing has NOT been sitting outside for 29 years, tho. I plan on using it Saturday.

Oh yeah. It had what appears to be the 1st generation "charcoal baskets"....merely some formed wire grates that fit onto the charcoal grate and hold back the coals.

$50.
