Getting water IN the pan?


 
I use room temp water when cooking. I have my times down to a T when using it. At 7 in the morning at a competition, I usually don't have time to prewarm some, so I use water that I have in a jug that is at room temp.
 
I no longer use water, but when I did use water I boiled it on the stove. I found that I was wasting fuel trying to ge the smoker to temperature which meant boiling the water. With regards to adding water during the cook I found that using hot tap water and a watering can worked really well, the one that has a plin end to it not the one spreads the water out.
