Getting fresh hamburgers to stick together...


 
Burgers tend to shrink and get fatter as you grill them, I am not sure if our way( the wifes) is any better than most peoples but here goes.
We mix ground beef, with ground pork. 2 beef to 1 pork, we like onions, so they get chopped up and added along with egg, if 2 beef,1pork 3 eggs.Make the patties large and thinner 1/2 or so and ofcourse sea salt and black pepper in the mix.
All is left to do is heat them up. We always make a bunch and freeze the rest. Pork is a nice change to straight beef burgers,when you add the pork you can go with lower fat beef.
