Genesis Silver C Cookbox

Hello everyone, I have an extra Cookbox for a Genesis Silver C, 2005 version with centered thermometer. I have held on to it for a long time, but now realize that I don't have the time, resources, or space to keep it any longer. Model number of grill is 6731411. Hoping one of you who may be local (south suburbs of Chicago) can come grab it and save it from the scrap yard.

Shout out to ChrisS for taking the time and effort to meet me at his school in SW suburban Chicago to give me a perfectly restorable Genesis Silver firebox. Our family happened to be visiting so it worked out great.

As I expected, my wife, while glad that I didn’t need to go on a road trip to get yet another grill part suggested that I was the one who needed to be getting rid of grill components🙄!

Weber folks take note of this: the reason Chris had a leftover firebox was that he reported the paint deterioration on his Silver to Weber customer service and the representative sent him a new one!👍
