Genesis Silver A grease pan source

Samuel, thats where I got mine a few years ago for my A. Its held up great, just as good as the ones for the B and of course easy to clean. Sure beats the old rust bucket tin ones. Think when I bought it was around $25 or so.

That's a really beautiful A. Thanks for posting photos of your restoration. I have to take mine apart soon to deal with some frame rust. It was my first Weber. I think the A gets underestimated with how well they cook. Excellent temp range.

I don't think anyone considers a Silver A as an inferior grill as far as how well they cook. They are just less versatile in that cooking for a group of 4 or 5 gets a little tough with an A.

You are right. I'm mainly using it for just my wife and I and of course there's plenty of room. It heats up fast which is nice. Last weekend we cooked steaks for four on it and it was still no problem with space. The steaks turned out great - all medium rare with nice sear marks.
