If that was mine I would keep it forever. For the rest of my lifeI finished this grill almost a year ago, it's still sitting in my garage. It doesn't sound crazy to me.View attachment 110774
I enjoy looking at it every time I'm out in the garage. If that was mine I would keep it forever. For the rest of my life
It's the '57 Chevy of grills.Absolutely! It's not only a work of art and an excellent cooker it's also one of the best grill designs ever made. At least in my opinion. I don't know of anything else that has stood up to the test of time as far as grills go in comparison.
How cool is that! My mom had a 1966 Mustang that my Dad bought for her brand new right after they got married. She had that car until 1984 and we literally grew up in it. They decided to sell it when I got my driver's license because they didn't want me to be driving it when I was 16.My mom had a nice 57 Bel Air when she was younger
Then you're familiar with how cool those are. My mom's was a stick and she did teach me to drive it but ultimately decided that it was too dangerous to let me have. My adult self with kids understands. That's really cool car also!! My brother-in-law has a 66 k code 289 all original numbers. Which was considered the high performance 289 version.
My dad had a 1969 Boss 429 mustang. Wish I could have driven that thing
Don't be too sure. I have three kids. The first two were very excited to learn how to drive and get their own cars. My youngest daughter, aged 19 still doesn't have a driver's license and doesn't appear to care to get one despite me trying my best to teach her to drive. This is apparently not an isolated case. I've read that many kids now have no interest in driving. My two older kids weren't quite as exposed to the Internet as the younger one was due to the age difference. I 100% believe that to be a factor in her indifference. I hope for the best regarding your daughter. My daughter is 13 almost 14. She'll be driving here in no time. As of now she doesn't have any interest but I'm sure that will change
I think you're 100% right on track Steve with your thinkingDon't be too sure. I have three kids. The first two were very excited to learn how to drive and get their own cars. I can literally feel my brain turning into mush if I spend too much time looking at Facebook or YouTube. What chance does a kid have?I think you're 100% right on track Steve with your thinking
It's so ridiculously far from our generations. A completely different worldI can literally feel my brain turning into mush if I spend too much time looking at Facebook or YouTube. What chance does a kid have?
I keep telling my kids that the real world is out there, not inside your phone. We have the ability to separate the two because we've spent most of our lives living in the real world. I totally appreciate the technology that we have now but there has to be a limit. It's so ridiculously far from our generations. A completely different world

Admit it..........you keep a little bottle of Jack under the hood and have a "nip" now and thenI enjoy looking at it every time I'm out in the garage.
