genesis renovation

You can start here....

No videos but it's a great how to guide to get you started and going.

There are several "How to's" regarding restoring that pertain to specific aspects. CHeck those out as well as other refurb threads. If you have questions, ask. There are a lot of folks on here willing to lend advice.

I will give you this one peice of advice if you are not real familiar with these grills and you are preparing to do a full rehab.
First, take all kinds of pictures before you tear into it so you know where all the screws, nuts, bolts and do-dads go when you try to put it all back to gether. Then, whenever you remove any parts, particularly screws and fasteners, put them in a little zip lock baggy and label the baggy where the parts came from. Don't be that guy that gets ready to put it back together and can't figure out where this goes or that goes or worse yet, gets it all put back together and has a whole bunch of parts left over.

Your best bet is to first read the grill rehabs up in the "stickies". Then post pics of what you got and what you want to do. You will get all the tips you need from the guys on this forum.
