Genesis 1200 Skyline Series refurbish job

Just finished fixing up a Weber Genesis Skyline Series grill. It was given to me by a friend. It needs more work to get the fold up table attached but its ready to go. I've owned a charcoal kettle for awhile but this is my first Weber propane grill. Weber Customer Service was outstanding. I ended up replacing the grill grates, igniter switch, manifold assembly and adding a new catch pan holder and tray. I painted everything I could with Rustoleum Ultra High Heat paint. The hood has some discoloration but it cleaned well. I'm proud of it and hope to use it for several years. I've got $150 or so in the fix up.

We've had our Genesis since April of '95 and it still looks and cooks well. We don't even use a cover on it. The Weber Genesis is a well built gas grill and Weber still makes replacement parts for it. One of the best gas grills for the money ever made in my opinion. The Skyline just referred to the painted skyline on the cover as far as I can tell, the picture looks vertually the same otherwise as our 1000LX.

I just picked up a Skyline. It has a regulator with a pressure fitting and I am looking for a replacement. Did you replace yours? What model number was the regulator?

Thanks.
