Gas control valve cap broke

I appreciate it very much. Didn’t the entire Genesis line up until the 2000s use the same style valve?
Don't appreciate me too much until I find it, I'm afraid it's in the same place as the new tank scale I know I had but can't find either. The valves were basically the same, yes. There were some variations though. I even have a manifold that has two different valves on it, but they work the same obviously.

Oddly enough the valve still operates completely normal with the one screw in. Maybe I’ll just cut my losses and keep using it. It’s not like the cap is designed to seal gas from leaking out. All the cap is for is a guide for the stem (I think)). The gas in contained inside

Let me check my back garage tomorrow (dark and raining here now) so I'll run back there tomorrow AM. I seem to recall seeing an old manifold hanging in that garage when I took the tractor out yesterday. I know it's a 1st generation but stripped for a few parts but valves were intact and I only owned 1st generation grills

thank you so much. As for now the valve still operates completely normal. I don’t believe gas will leak out

Oh no. That’s so sad to hear. But good thing I just replaced my burner tubes there was a ton of crap stuck inside. I don’t believe gas will come out of this cracked valve cap but yea I’m not risking it
