Fun snow Butt smoke

I smoked up two butts for my grand daughter's school science Fair. I'm in Toronto, so it's pretty snowy out there.

Luckily it wasn't that cold, and there wasn't much wind. They came out really nice.

And, I sold out. Best compliment was from a teacher who's originally from South Carolina, She was sceptical, but when she tried some she said it was a as good as any she ever had!

As you can see they're huge, and given that the temp dropped to about 210 while I slept, the cook took 19 hours! Question: would four butts slow it down even more?

Cheers,

Michael

Michael it'll slow it down a little, it takes longer to come to temp, the phase change for 4 is more than 2 but probably an hour @ most.

Thanks, I guess I figured on that. Forgot to add that when my wife got up, before me, she noticed the temp was low. So she opened the fuel door and blew into it to get the heat going again. How's that for a great Q spouse!

Y'know, Mike. I used to make my own. Then one day I look at the PC Smoking Stampede ingredients, and it included everything I use, right down to the bourbon. It's also won some blind awards.

I've made my own sauce too but the Stampede sauce is better than mine plus WAY less hassle! The other sauces I've bought seem to have way too much sugar. This brand has a bolder flavour, the Habanero one is not too bad either for a change.
