Went sweet cherry picked yesterday morning. Oh my goodness are they good!

My mother-in-law and daughter made 12 jars of cherry jelly.

Here are 4 of those jars.

So I had to make biscuits for breakfast.


Later I got started on Sunday dinner. Two spatchcocked chickens that I injected with peach nectar, bbq rub, and a dash of hot sauce.

Injected and seasoned.

And onto the kettle they go.

First check both temping at about 145.

I also made my first ever attempt at homemade baked beans.

Plates with Pulled chicken, beans, and mac and cheese.

We also had fruit bars with fresh cherry for dessert.
