Fridge - 0, Butt - 1

Well the spare fridge went out this past weekend or maybe Friday afternoon

. I scrambled to transfer everything out to the main one. Had to do something with a 7 lb butt, so pulled pork it was. Fridge is still down, but the PP was great. The good freezer now has a turkey breast, ham and PP in it. Anyone have any ideas what a new compressor may run? I may just pitch the fridge and buy another used one.

I don't know what a compressor runs, but unless the fridge is fairly new (within the last 1-7 years) in my opinion, you would be better off to get a newer, more energy-efficient fridge that will save money in the long run.

If you're interested, you can give me what you're looking for more specifically (side-by-side, top freezer, bottom freezer, no freezer, all freezer, self-defrosting, larger or smaller than normal) and a general price guideline I can make a few educated suggestions.

This is an old, I'm guessing 15 year old Whirlpool; top freezer. Just sits out in the garage. Paid $100 for it, so I'm not looking to invest too much into it.
