Since I made a post awhile back called the 5 B’s, decided tonight would be the 5 S’s. On the menu
tonight is Sirloin Steak, Salmon, Shrimp, Stuffed Mushrooms(store bought so not sure of all ingredients,
but looked good

)and Salted Potatoes.

First off the russet potatoes were laid in a bed of kosher salt, garlic powder and some Cajun seasoning.

Then put onto the grill to cook covered for the next hour and a half.

The rest of dinner with the sirloin steak seasoned with Penzeys Chicago steak, after being salted
and brought up to room temperature. The shrimp and the salmon were marinated for a couple of hours with
Mr. Yoshidas and teriyaki sauce then dusted with Ruth Ann’s Muskego Avenue Chicken and Fish seasoning.

Potatoes are done and off the grill. (They were uncovered at the 1 1/2 hour mark and sprayed with olive oil
and cooked for another 30 minutes.)

Definitely realized why I like chuck eye steak instead of any other type. The sirloin
steaks were good, but guess I am spoiled with the chuck eye’s flavor and texture.
Potatoes, salmon and shrimp were delicious. The stuffed mushrooms were so-so. They weren’t bad,
but I like the ones I do better than these. So live and learn

Overall a good Friday night surf n turf dinner.

Thanks for looking!
