There is just my wife and I and I was wondering if any of you guys cook more then you will eat at one meal and freeze the rest? How long will it keep in the freezer. How does sliced pork, meatloaf, ribs and brisket keep in the freezer and for how long.

We have a 2nd refrigerator and often the only thing in the freezer portion is vacuum sealed meat. It's almost full right now after a monster cook I did a few weeks ago.

Yep, I use a Food Saver vac sealer. It'll keep for at least a year in the freezer if vac sealed. You can use a hand vac sealer available for cheap at your local grocery store.

To be honest, I think alot of the pork taste better after it has been frozen and reheated. The smoke taste seems to be fuller to me. I always cook enough to have plenty of extras.

Get a vacuum sealer. It allows you to maximize the efficiency of your smoker and you have a freezer full of delicious food whenever you want it. I've frozen brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and ribs. It never sits in the freezer too long because it gets eaten so quickly, but it always comes out perfect when reheated.
